REDLANDS, Calif., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- McCune Law Group attorney Joe Richardson has been named Attorney of the Year by the Richard T. Fields Bar Association, honored at the organization's Installation and Awards Gala, themed "A Night in Harlem," held September 26 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in San Bernardino. Richardson leads the firm's Racial & Economic Justice Practice and was recognized alongside a slate of judges and community leaders honored by the association for the 2026-2027 term.

The Richard T. Fields Bar Association was founded in 2010 and named for the Honorable Richard T. Fields, the first African American judge in Riverside County history and now an associate justice on California's Fourth District Court of Appeal. The organization works to expand the pipeline of attorneys of color in the Inland Empire through scholarships, mentorship, and community engagement. Its Attorney of the Year award recognizes lawyers whose work reflects that same commitment to opportunity and equity within the legal profession.

Richardson has built his career confronting resource disparities across Southern California, securing verdicts and settlements on behalf of individuals, churches, and nonprofit organizations harmed by discrimination. He leads McCune Law Group's pro bono program, directing the firm's volunteer legal work toward individuals and small businesses affected by discriminatory policies, and regularly partners with business, religious, and civic leaders to address inequality at the community level.
